What do I think of the site’s overall design: Look up “Professionally designed website” and you might see this one. Bright, colorful with all of the flourishes that show that this is a site about comic books. Comics are presented on an artboart-styled layout, with graphics of artists’ tools strewn about. This is site design to be envied (at least, I certainly envy it!)
What do I like about the strip: First of all, any person who remotely follows comic books, comic book –related media or comic book movies should find the strips hilarious and informative. They’re a great way to get noobs up to speed about what is going on in a particular comic franchise, but in a snarky, spoofy way that is easily grokkable (look that word up) format. These guys brought some real heavyweights to do the artwork, and it shows. The artist bio at the end of each blog is also a nice touch.
Why should YOU read it: any site that makes me want to trash my current layout and resdesign my site from scratch (or hire someone who’s better than me at it to do it for me) is worth looking at. This site is a gold standard for other webcomics to aspire to (including mine.)
