Comic’s name: Arpeggio

Creators: Satyr, Sime and Sandi

What is the comic about: An aspiring rock singer discovers that there is real magic in her music.

How is comic drawn: It’s a highly detailed BW style of art reminiscent of Love & Rockets and other great “real life” comics. Also reminds me a bit of Chris Bachalo.

How often updated: Updates weekly.

What else does the website offer: There’s a blog and merchandise section, a link to the comic’s facebook page, a link to the creator’s studio site. And there’s music!

What do I think of the site’s overall design: The design is pretty straightforward, but it works.

What do I like about the strip: I always find strips with more realistic art to be impressive, if only because I wish I could draw like that. I love the way this strip is rendered. I also like the premise, and the characters are engaging. I also find the featured songs a nice addition, too.

Why should YOU read it: This is a wonderful comic mixing fantasy and rock music. You’ll like it.

ESRB rating: PG-13.
