What do I think of the site’s overall design: it’s a very clean design, as deceptively simple as the art style. Very fitting for a sci-fi themed webcomic.
What do I like about the strip: it took me a while to get into the story because I was expecting an epic sci-fi romp, but instead the author spends a great amount of time establishing the characters (the first few chapters are devoted to this) before kicking the story into gear. While I’m a big “Mor Action NOW!” guy, I can appreciate what they are trying to do because (as you see) my own action webcomic has slowed the action down a little bit to take some time to establish its central characters. But once the actual abduction takes place, the themes of exploration and grim discovery permeate ht estory in masterful ways. Also, the are is mesmerizing to look at. The cartoony style blended with the sophisticated coloring makes for a very unique art style.
Why should YOU read it: The End is a deep, character-driven Sci-story with engaging artwork. It’s worth a look.
ESRB rating: PG.
