Comic’s name: Two Guys And Guy
Creators: Rickard Jonnasan
What is the comic about: from the site: “the strip brings you into the lives of Frank, Wayne and Guy, a group of friends which best is described as “less than perfect people”.”
How is comic drawn: Very stylized manga-Saturday morning cartoon hybrid, and colored in muted pastels.
How often updated: EMondays, Wednesdays and Fdridays
What else does the website offer: blog, Shopzone, Fan art section, artists’ portfolio and commissions, archives and Links page, nerdnews feed.
What do I think of the site’s overall design: the site is designed in a way that fits the coloring of the art perfectly. The layout is easy to navigate and has a lot of features without a lot of clutter. It has a very stylized, modern feel to it.
What do I like about the strip: what really got me interested in this site was the stylized, manga-hybrid art. But what keeps me coming back is the quirky-but-fun depiction of our three central characters. There’s no long narrative, but I like how each strip hints at deeper backstories with the characters in how they relate to each other and the world around them. That’s good character design and development. I also like how accessible the humor is. It’s not all just for nerds, normal people can get it, too.
Why should YOU read it: This is a stylish gag-a-day webcomic with a lot of charm. Enjoy.
ESRB rating: PG14.
